St. Gregory's Holiday Fun Fest & Silent Auction to be Dec 8

St. Gregory Barbarigo School in Maryville is hosting its annual Holiday Fun Fest and Silent Auction on Sunday, December 8 from noon to 4 p.m. at the school and parish church.

Principle of St. Gregory School, Susan Martin, says the event will include fun activities for the public.

"We will have a visit from Santa and Mrs. Klaus.  We will have games.  We will have a professional caricature here to do drawings.  There'll be face painting, indoor inflatables, some laser tag, and concessions.  Then there's also the silent auction piece.  We have several items.  The silent auction is free, and people can come and browse and maybe get some early Christmas shopping done or maybe finish up their Christmas shopping."

Martin adds that there will be several items included in the silent auction to fit any budget and many interests.

"We have a braces packet from Dr. Brian Vierthaler at Compass Dental.  I know we have a portrait session from Kayla Steins Photography.  Maryville Florist is offering a silent auction of flowers for a year.  And I know there are several sports and entertainment packages, various homemade goods, and various items like that."

All proceeds will benefit the school's parent teacher organization, which supports the students by purchasing textbooks, updating the technology, media center, and library funding.
